Create the life you want

Therapy provides a time and space to step away from the busyness of life, reflect, and explore your needs, while working towards creating the life you want for yourself. Therapy may help by:

  • Providing a safe, non-judgemental space where you can focus on introspection and self-reflection with someone who listens and understands.

  • Offering a way to move forward when feeling stuck or dissatisfied. Therapy can facilitate new perspectives or the development of skills to work through challenging life circumstances.

  • Supporting you to recognise patterns and behaviours that may ultimately be maintaining emotional distress. From this, we can develop other ways of being and relating that are driven by your needs, goals and values.

About Me

BPsych (Honours), MPsych (Clinical), PhD, Member of APS

I see clients at all stages of life. I work with adults experiencing mental health challenges (such as depression, anxiety, stress, and emotion dysregulation) and have a particular interest in cases where these symptoms result from exposure to trauma and adversity. I also work with children, adolescents, and parents, and have a particular interest in administering interventions for oppositional and disruptive behaviour.

I take a holistic and collaborative approach to therapy. I am passionate about evidence-based intervention and aim to integrate my knowledge and understanding of these frameworks into a therapy plan that is tailored to your personal goals, needs, and preferences.

I use the following evidence-based frameworks as the foundation for my practice:

·         Schema Therapy

·         Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

·         Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

·         Mindfulness and Body-Based Techniques

·         Parent Training Therapies
